State of the Art Care

Dr. Williams utilizes cutting edge technologies in microsurgery, joint replacement, arthroscopy and fracture fixation to optimize outcomes for her patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.

Regenerative Medicine

Dr. Williams uses platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) to treat select conditions. PRP is a nonsurgical technique where a small amount of blood is drawn and spun down, isolating growth factors that are then injected to promote tissue healing and regrowth.

Hand Therapy

Dr. Williams's patients have access to an exceptional  team of certified hand therapists  to optimize their outcome, whether they are being treated conservatively or recovering from surgery.

Minimally Invasive Procedures

Minimally invasive procedures produce less soft tissue injury and smaller incisions than traditional techniques, leading to faster and less painful recoveries. These procedures can often be done under local anesthesia to maximize patient convenience and comfort.

Xiaflex

Dr. Williams has extensive experience in Dupuytren's disease.  She offers patients the choice of xiaflex injection, needle aponeurotomy, and surgery based on their history, extent of disease, and treatment goals.

Urgent care

Dr. Williams knows that some injuries can't wait. Same- or next-day visits are available Monday through Friday with her or with another member of the Yale Hand team.
